ahhh. younger days.

i miss the weekends when the 4 of us would gather downstairs to play soccer from 4-6.30.

where we used the two trees as goalposts, and water bottles.

though we will normally play until 7+, and then our mum's will come down looking for us.

i miss the malay vs chinese matches we had.

i even miss the near fights we almost got into wif them.

everytime i pass by that small field, the memories inevitably comes flowing back.

everytime.

memories of the fun, joy and laughter we had. that was pure fun. true childhood laughter.

even the void deck that i pass by everyday. i still recall the few of us playing soccer there when we were barred from that field.

but how things had changed. some relocated, some stopped playing and stop simply didnt come down anymore.

Spurs 5 - 1 SCBC (South Coast big club, aka Soton or Southampton).

There couldnt be a better team to trash(except arse) than southampton. In case you were wondering the south coast big club is meant to be read in the deepest and most sarcastic tone you can muster. Fook off Wupperrt Lowe! Your defenders are so pathetic they remind me of gary doherty. You can have your star defender Dean Richards back for free this coming january. we'll even throw in johnnie jackson!

Went to HMV today after school and bought "The usual suspects" DVD .. been wanting to get it ever since i watched it last semester during film class.. what can i say.. it is still as brilliant as ever even after watching it for the 2nd time. Kevin spacey really rox. Also bought 'The Pianist' VCD.. i havent even tore out the wrapper..haha..guess i'll watch it tomorrow.

Spurs lost to Liverpool reserves at home.

In other news, Taufik Batisah was crowned the new Singapore idol, blah blah,blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah; blah blah blah blah blah blahblah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah.

Anyway, the best performance that evening was clearly Dick Lee's.

It was only the first time i've watched the show besides the auditions specials. i was glad sylvester absolutely butchered bon jovi's song(couldn't have happened to a shittier band) with the screaming and the fake slang but i thought he did rather well on his last song. Also, i think i read somewhere before that Aerosmith is one of his favourite bands. To that, i just hope someone refer him to the immortal words of Noel Gallagher - "Call us arrogant if you want i don't care, so long as we don't get called Aerosmith"
