Friday, April 07, 2006 Been hooked on RTK 11 lately. Romance of the 3 kingdoms is definitely the longest series of game i've ever played, beginning with RTK 2 at my Aunt's house using her 66 MHZ computer back then. I remember getting really hooked over the game, and then the story, till now i've read almost 5 versions of the entire book a few times liao. Anyway this series is definitely one of the best i've played in terms of graphics and gameplay, they finally took out the option to play as an officer(which i think is bloodily stupid) and limit the player to use only rulers. Even though part of the game is in Jap the majority important stuff are still in Chinese making it playable.In the past i always started with Liu bei but now i find playing as Cao Cao more exciting la. Graphics : 10/10  Another part of the game which i absolutely adore is some of the character portraits. Chang San Zhao ZiLong!~ (nicest portrait in the game imo)  Gan Ning looks surprising suave here:  Guan Yu~~  Zhou Yu looks great too:  Elegant Lady Sun~ :  Saw a Mani lookalike though :(  Guo Jia and his 1 hit KO skill in a tongue battle..( no, not THAT kinda battle you were thinking)  if you wanna see more portraits of certain officers lemme know and i'll try to host it :) |
